## Job Role Overview: Electrical Technician
PTC is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Technician to join its operational workforce. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of electrical systems within refinery environments.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
As an Electrical Technician, your day-to-day operations will involve maintaining high standards of engineering excellence and safety compliance. Your primary duties will encompass:
* Executing comprehensive commissioning, start-up procedures, routine inspections, rapid troubleshooting, and preventive or corrective maintenance on various electrical systems across refinery zones.
* Conducting thorough operational checks on critical assets, including electric motors, electrical panels, Motor Control Centers (MCC), switchgears, transformers, cabling networks, lighting systems, and grounding apparatus.
* Identifying equipment abnormalities, performing root-cause evaluations, and delivering actionable recommendations directly to supervisors or engineers.
* Interpreting complex technical documents such as Single Line Diagrams (SLD), wiring schematics, and electrical blueprints with high precision.
* Adhering strictly to standard operating procedures (SOP), Permit to Work protocols, Job Safety Analysis (JSA/JHA), and rigorous Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) guidelines.
* Maintaining accurate logs, documentation, and reporting regarding work progress, equipment statuses, and troubleshooting histories.
## Candidate Qualifications and Requirements
To qualify for this prestigious position, applicants must meet the following professional and administrative criteria:
* Nationality: Must be an Indonesian Citizen (WNI).
* Educational Background: Minimum completion of Senior High School (SMA) or Vocational High School (SMK).
* Work Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on professional experience in electrical equipment maintenance.
* Technical Competencies:
* Proficiency in coupling and uncoupling electric motor gearboxes.
